Did You Know?
Before you can take your RYA Coastal Skipper practical exam you will need 800 nautical miles under your belt!

Before you take your RYA Yachtmaster practical exam you will need 2500 nautical miles and 5 skippered passages over 60 nautical miles!

STCW stands for "Standard of Training for Crew and Watch"! A must have course if you want to work commercially.

Our 3.5 week Gap Year Course is ideally suited for those who want to find work overseas in the yachting industry. This course is designed to give prospective students the minimum certification and qualifications they will need to find work as crew.

The course consists of the following:

RYA Competent Crew
RYA Day Skipper Theory
RYA Day Skipper Practical
STCW 95
VHF Prep & Exam

Students will also receive an RYA logbook in which to keep track of their progress and in which to store their RYA certificates. Our normal price for this course is R18 500 but if you BOOK NOW we will offer you a special winter discount rate a 10% discount – R17 500 inclusive of VAT!
