RYA Day Skipper Practical & Theory

RYA Day Skipper Practical (sail): 5 days (live on board)

The RYA Day Skipper Practical course prepares students to skipper a small yacht in familiar waters during the day. Students typically live aboard the yacht for the duration of the course, visiting different marinas and anchorages to practice pilotage techniques. (Includes accommodation on the vessel and a basic food stipend for the week)

To operate locally in South Africa, you can complete the SAS (South African Sailing) exam additionally.
