Ocean Star Sailing Academy provides you with what is generally considered within the industry to be the minimum training and certification needed to find work as a stewardess.

Taught by industry professionals with many years experience. Included in the stewardess course is a wine appreciations and cocktails course, flower arrangements, silver service (as well as a silver service lunch/dinner where you demonstrate your newly learned skills), industry and visa know-how, laundry services, detailing the interior of the yacht, constructing a CV specific to the industry and introduction to barista training.

This 20 day Career course starts off with 5 days Intensive Stewardess Training.

This training provides you with knowledge and practical skills such as food and wine pairing, silver service, detailing, housekeeping and flower arranging. During these 5 days you will get assistance with the interviewing process, creating a CV and day work references.

This is followed by the STCW (Standards of Training for Crew and Watch), where students learn basic first aid, fire fighting and life-raft training and safety awareness.
